light-weight, but "bloody well built" trailer for your
beloved hotrod, classic car, racer, etc ???

MRT Race Car Trailers have been around since 1969 - but their quality,
service & downright "friendliness" have "gone through the roof", since
Glenn & Michelle took over the business - a bit over 12 months ago
Like most people, we did the "usual" yellow pages, ebay, trading post,
classified adverts "thing" - as we were looking for a good quality,
weather-proof, 7x4x6 enclosed trailer to tow behind our van
carting our g o r g e o u s shoes 'n' clothes around in to our gigs
The trailers we saw were either overpriced, too heavy, poorly constructed
or made with those pressed-metal sides with those "creases" in them
(supposedly making them more stable) - "we weren't impressed"
Then we "stumbled" across MRT
Glenn invited us down to his factory to see how MRT made their
trailers, & "boy", what an eye-opener this turned out to be
Glenn has an engineering background - & he used these skills to completely
re-design the way that the MRT range of vans are constructed
MRT make a wide range: Open, tandem-axle, tag (drawbar) race car trailers,
Enclosed tag (drawbar) race car trailers, Gooseneck race car trailers,
Motorbike trailers, Vendor trailers, On-Site Hospitality trailers,
Horse Float trailers, Other Specialised trailers
And if you're a deft handyman - & you want to build your own caravan or
mobile home, MRT can even build a "trailer skeleton" to your speci's, so
that you can cover it in & fit it out at your leisure - the way you want
In fact, MRT can now make your trailers just about anyway that you like
Our trailer is made with a frame of square steel tube with cross struts
(just like the way a house is framed), it's covered with light-weight
aluminium one-piece sheeting (so no joins to let the weather in), it
has a lockable top-opening rear door with gas struts, the floor is
tough thick marine ply (the same as used in racing car trailers),
it has a built-in ladder so we can easily get to the trailer top
(with bars around it like a roof rack) for extra storage
Glenn even arranged the trailer Registration for us
So for our g o r g e o u s requirements, it's absolutely perfect
(As it turned out, Mary's son Charles had previously
bought an MRT trailer for his race car)
